Magnet Regulations For Using Magnetic Products

When you try to ship or use the magnet for commercial purposes, you should take care of certain magnet regulations for using magnetic products. Though there are certain rules for the use of magnets in certain fields, here is one rule that we are going to discuss now.

This rule is about magnet sets and individual magnets that are usually marketed or promoted to be used in the form of magnet sets. The rule says that magnet sets are aggregations with separable magnetic objects. These are usually marketed as a manipulative item. They are used as a construction item for entertainment purpose. This can include sculpture building, puzzle working, and stress relief object or mental stimulation material.

The regulations further state that when a magnet is being included in a magnetic set that is fitting within the CPSC’s cylinder small parts, then each one of the magnets should be having a flux index of 50 kG2mm2. The index can be less than this but should never be more than this. Also, an individual magnet sold as a part of the entire magnetic set should meet these requirements. The flux can be determined by a certain method certified by Standard Consumer Safety Specification for To Safety.
